Quick Tip! Organise your photos in Lightroom

Yesterday whilst I was working through some photos in my Lightroom catalogue, I right clicked on one of the photos and and option appeared on the drop down menu which I hadn't noticed before.

Clicking on unknown items on a menu has always been how I've learnt more about the program and this was no different and it turns out that Stacking is a really useful feature in Lightroom. If you don't know about this feature, have a look at the video below where I make the visible size of my library much smaller and a lot easier to scan and search through.

After all the stacks have been collapsed, hundreds of photographs are then reduced into just a few thumbnails.

Thanks very much for reading, and I hope this has benefited you and your catalogues in Lightroom. Please leave a comment and I'll see you again soon.

NEW Photography blog!

So I've had some inspiration from a few other photography bloggers (namely Jared Polin, Dom Bower and Gavin Hoey) and decided to streamline my current blog page into a diary of my journey as I rediscover my love for photography.

I have recently enjoyed making some videos on YouTube in relation to some of the photographs and edits I have been doing on Jared's FroKnowsPhoto.com forum and if you check out my YouTube channel, you can have a browse through some of these. I've picked out a few of my favourites and linked them below.

If you enjoy the videos, please subscribe to the channel so you can keep track of future videos although I will be posting them all on this site.

My first diary, or challenge of posts which you will start seeing is going to be my 365 Project; a photograph a day for 365 days!

Thank you for reading and look forward to sharing and hearing from you all soon.
